Year Taken: 2020-2021 Material Advice: - For this course, there will be a lot of attention and studying needed. Some resource that I found helpful was Mr.Sinn's youtube channel. This man helped the understand the main points of the unit and also helped me with narrowing the actual unit. This allowed me to focus on the key points of Human Geography. General Advice: - This class is very rigorous. It will help you build good studying habits as a lot of material is provided. Along with this, there is a bunch of memorization. Memorization is key to success. You will need to memorize vocabulary, where states and countries are, and different systems used throughout the years to handle and help sustain our human population. Make sure to pay attention in class. As long as you are consistent in this class you will succeed. Hope you found this helpful!!

I feel that throughout this course the tool that helped me the most was Khan Academy and really asking the teacher questions when needed about the material. These tools will help set you up for success! General Advice: - This course contains a LOT of memorization. Memorization is key to success in this class. You must understand the structure and its functions. Devices like Quizlet and Kahoot had helped me with the memorization part of functions. Something that helped me understand the different structures was actually drawing them out. Trust me when I say that this helped me a lot, especially with the memorization of the structure itself. Year Taken: 2020-2021 Material Advice: There isn't really much you need for this class. All assignments are normally online, you might get a couple of hand-outs (for projects and rubrics) so maybe a folder and some writing utensils. General Advice: English I is definitely one of the easy Pre-AP courses. Again, paying attention in class is key to scoring well as there isn't a lot of quizzes or tests, it's mainly just writing or annotating short stories online. Be sure that you are following the rubric word for word and using the formatting/outline that's suggested to score high. There are a few books you read throughout the year, and I would strongly recommend reading the book and then making sure you understood everything by checking SparkNotes. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask questions.
