Material Advice:
AP Spanish: preparing for the language and culture examination- José M. Díaz
Abriendo Paso Temas y Lecturas- José M. Díaz and Maria F. Nadel
General Advice:
This level of Spanish is a lot different than the previous years of Spanish. Up until Spanish 3, we focused on grammar and learning new verbs. In AP Language, you applying those skills to real world conversations and situations. Over the course of the year, you practice speaking through presentations and on the spot conversations as well. This is all to prepare you for the AP exam taken in May. This class is much more difficult than the previous classes, but it is a lot of fun as well and the teacher is amazing. I recommend that you do not procrastinate at all for this class, since it is mostly speaking. My advice is to practice speaking, because fluency is very important in this class.
