Material Advice:
1) YouTube
a. CrashCourse (quick review videos I watched after learning most of the material from that unit and/or needed extra information to learn certain concepts)
b. Bozeman Science (he really goes in depth about concepts so if you want a deep understanding of something, this is your guy! His presentations are helpful for visualizing a certain concept (ex. bonds) if you're a visual learner)
c. Tyler DeWitt (his demonstrations can be really helpful for visual learners)
d. Professor Dave Explains (yes, another youtuber who is helpful if you're a visual learner like me. Professor Dave dumbs it down for you and his videos are easier to understand than most peoples)
General Advice:
Although these Youtubers are wonderful sources, the most helpful source was my teacher. By asking questions, I was able to learn the concepts much easier because the teacher knew what I needed help with and the things I was struggling with. If you feel uncomfortable asking a question in front of the whole class, I'd usually go to the teacher's desk and ask them there (or under the new circumstance, I usually stay a bit after class ends to ask my questions!). And you can always email or text your teacher through Remind as well! Another helpful tip I learned was to review my notes I took in class that day. I'd review them before I started on my homework for chemistry (or any class) and then do that every day from the first to last day of learning material for the current unit. This makes you not cram material in your head the night before test day and I was able to recall more information.
