General Advice:
Something super important I learned taking WHAP is time management skills and not to do your work last minute. The day you get work in this class, try and finish it on the exact same day. It typically isn't hard, just a handful. In this class, most of your homework is taking notes over the textbook, and I would 100% take advantage of this. Not only can you use these notes during your quizzes at the beginning of the year, writing these notes help you prepare for the test, so take very specific notes. The teacher also gives a template with notes you should take, so I would definitely use this to your advantage in addition to the notes you took yourself. This class offers a lot of extra credit opportunities and tutorials, which you should use. Although the extra credit opportunity is so early in the morning and you may think you don't need it, you will, as these definitely come in handy with raising your grades each marking period. Lastly, for the timeline project I'm sure you've heard of, don't try to cram it in one or two consecutive days. This will only overwhelm you and you won't do as well as you want. Each day, do at least 3 paragraphs, and although it seems like a lot, I promise it isn't so difficult, and you'll finish the timeline a lot earlier than most people:)
