Material Advice:
-In general, make sure you take good notes in class and take advantage of all worksheets, printouts, and reviews
General Advice:
This class can be very heavy in the amount of content covered, but can be overcome through a good work ethic. Make sure to keep a planner in this class, as we often have a lot of homework or quizzes which we check in class, so it's crucial that you know due dates well. Don't slack off in class and do the notes when the teacher is talking, I know it can be easy to get distracted but it's much more beneficial to use your class time wisely. A lot of class time is made up of the labs we do, so do your best in these labs, stay on task, ask the teacher or your peers when you have questions, and always write your work down at the moment. In terms of tests, do the reviews, and if you need extra practice go to the slideshows for the notes, often the teacher has practice problems with full steps to help you. Remember that advanced Chemistry exams have a multiple choice and written section, so make sure that you not only know how to solve certain things but understand the concepts well enough to the point where you can explain them and show the steps. Overall, if you use your class time wisely and use your resources to practice and study, you should be fine. Good Luck!
