Material Advice: AMSCO, Strayer textbook(which is given by the school), Heimler's History Youtube Channel, Crash Course Videos
General Advice: I would say that it's important to not procrastinate in this class. You have to take a lot of notes and read all the textbook assignments carefully to understand the material better, so it's best to finish assignments as soon as you get them. Pushing your work will make it harder for you to learn all the material and take detailed notes. Having detailed notes is extremely helpful, especially because there have been open note quizzes. It may be hard to read the textbook thoroughly especially since it may be lengthy, but it can help you remember specific details which is important for the quizzes. If you are struggling to understand something or to prepare for the AP exam, it might be beneficial for you to check out Heimler's History YouTube channel. His videos aren't usually that long and he covers a lot of information in an engaging manner. Moreover, when extra credit is offered, it's best to always attend, as extra credit helps your grade in a course like this. You can also look into Crash Course videos and Khan academy videos, as these videos go a lot into depth on the content. Typically, you can do quiz corrections to help your grade, so definitely take advantage of that. Furthermore, it's important to keep up with the assignments you are supposed to include in your notebook, because this will factor into your notebook check grade, which is usually helps your grade if you are organized with it. As long as you pay attention and complete the work, you won't have a hard time.
