Difference Between On-Level and Advanced Algebra 2
The primary difference between On-Level Algebra II and Pre-AP Algebra II is the rate at which you will learn each chapter. In Pre-AP Algebra II you will learn two exercises of a chapter each block. Every other block, you will have a quiz on the chapters. This class is recommended for those who wish to challenge themselves and want to pursue higher mathematics in high school and in a potential future career. I would highly recommend Pre-AP classes in general as they best prepare you for future classes and allow you to build the necessary skills for college. On the other hand, On-Level will allow you to focus on one exercise per class. I would recommend On-Level if you personally know your strengths and weaknesses in math and believe you would need more assistance on moving forward in this class. Either way, your decision should be based on which path will lead you to the most success as a student.
